Had a customer come in one day and he saw the decal and said, “I was fishing off Costa Rita for sailfish and on the boat was that sticker!”

The saying “it’s not the fly you suck” is meant in jest between fellow fishermen. Just like when you were a kid and you and your buddies teased each other. It showed you guys really liked each other.

Had another fun one, one of the guides from a lodge in Idaho came in one day and bought a bunch of decals and put them on all the coolers they used for guiding. Most everyone like the saying and laughed. But, a few clients could not take the joke and complained. The owners made the guides take the decals off the coolers.
