A favorite of mine and the staff, we all wear them and use them on our guided fishing trips. Lots of great features, the highlight is the removable soles. I used felt for several years and now that Yellowstone has banned felt, I just changed out the soles and I was good to go. I did not have to buy a new pair of boots.
My favorite is the Darkhorse for several reasons. first is the BOA M2 lacing system which allows for quick on and off. The boots opens wider than a traditional lace boot, so it is easier to get my foot in and out. Also, after you wade around boots always loosen up, now it can just reach down and turn the knob to tighten. I don’t have to re-lace. There is extra ankle support with this boot, but not so much that is restricts movement.
